Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs)
From October 2008 landlords offering property for rent have been required to provide prospective tenants with an Energy Performance Certificate for their property.
The EPC must be provided for free when any written information on the property is provided to prospective tenants or a viewing is conducted. EPCs can only be produced by properly accredited assessors and remain valid for 10 years for rental properties. They may be reused as many times as necessary within the 10 year period so there is no need for a new EPC for each let.
Our Domestic Energy Assessors are fully qualified and accredited and provide fast and efficient EPCs throughout the Nottingham area and we are able to offer EPC’s for a flat fee of £60 + VAT per property.
